Winter mix featuring various types of red and green lettuce, arugula, spinach, mâché', claytonia, microgreens, shoots and edible flowers packaged in Stay Fresh clear bags.


Grown with Littleton municipal PFAS free water and without use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, GMO’s, or growth regulators.    Ground based greens grown in Coast of Maine organic compost with occasional feedings of Neptune's Harvest organic fertilizer from Gloucester MA.  Hydroponic plants grown with Pure Blend Organic Based nutrients.


Less plastic - More greens.   Johnny Putt Farm Stay fresh bags weigh .2oz and contain 15 oz of greens.   Supermarket clamshells weigh 2.5 oz and hold 5 oz of greens.  That's 38X more plastic required to protect their greens from rough handling in shipping.

Copper foil and tacky glue on legs keeps bugs from climbing up and fabric row cover keeps bugs from flying in.  Nothing beats real sunlight when you can get it.

Early Morning Rainbow

I went to see the eclipse. I went out at midnight to view the aurora borealis.   This unexpected early morning rainbow at the farm was the most awesome.
